Course Prospectus

This Diploma is for Barbers who wish to upskill and specialize in Men’s Barbering services. 

The Learner must already hold a Level 2 Diploma in Barbering MQF/EQF Level 3 or have 2 years salon/barber shop experience, subject to a Viva Voce interview.

Courses start every autumn and spans over 1 scholastic year, Consisting of demos and tutorials in class and practice hours in barber shop/salon placements.

Total: 1 scholastic year, once weekly

• Whilst this qualification’s primary purpose is to prepare the learner for employment as a Senior Barber, they may choose to complement their skills base or become a specialist in a field of hairdressing by undertaking a Level 4 Certificate in Trichology for Hairdressers/Barbers.
• A certificate of achievement is awarded to the learner after completing the online tests and practical assessments related to different modules.
