Course Overview:
The course leading to this Award focuses on the consolidation of various barbering techniques such as fading (high, medium and low) and male facial hair grooming, reflecting the latest trends in the barbering industry.
This course is delivered over 6 sessions of 3 hours each. The assessment will be based on practical tests AND a portfolio, as a course completion requirement to make learners eligible for the certificate.
Applicants must be in possession of a Level 3 accredited qualification in basic principles and skills of hairdressing OR 2 years salon experience, with knowledge of the basic principles and skills of hairdressing (Level 3), subject to a viva voce interview.
